Position Summary
As a Boat Buyer/Broker, you will act as a liaison between buyers and sellers in the marine industry. You will be responsible for facilitating the purchase and sale of boats, ensuring both parties' needs are met efficiently and effectively. Your role will include evaluating boats, negotiating deals, managing documentation, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the buying and selling process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to understand their boat-buying or selling needs. Provide expert advice on market trends, boat types, and pricing.
- Conduct thorough research to stay informed about market conditions, boat values, and emerging trends. Analyze comparable sales to determine appropriate pricing for boats.
- Negotiate terms and prices between buyers and sellers to reach mutually beneficial agreements. Handle offers, counteroffers, and final agreements professionally.
- Organize and conduct boat showings and demonstrations for prospective buyers.
- Build and maintain relationships with boat owners, dealers, and other industry professionals.
- Utilize sales tools, including OneWater Buyer/Broker Processes and CRM.
- Maintain exceptional service to clients throughout the buying or selling process. Address any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
- Actively participate in Boat Shows, Store, and Off-site sales and customer events.

Qualifications / Requirements
- Proven experience in boat brokerage, sales, or a related field.
- Brokerage License.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for market analysis and documentation.
- Established network of contacts in the marine industry preferred.
