Busser/Food Runner

Responsibilities

• Create a relaxed destination – Greet all guests with a friendly smile, demonstrating genuine hospitality and work as a team player
• Set the course – Deliver exceptional service by assisting servers with food delivery to guests
• Build the perfect oasis – Practice table maintenance, clearing, and setting tables according to Tommy Bahama standards
• Support your crew – Maintain a clean and sanitary environment for all team members and guests
• Willingness to perform other duties as required that are necessary to support the business

Requirements

• 1+ years of serving or related experience in a full-service restaurant
• Current food handler’s card and alcohol service certification as required by federal/state/local law
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service/hospitality
• Excellent guest service skills
• High school diploma or GED

Essential Physical Requirements

• Lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently
• Bending/stooping/kneeling required – frequently
• Routine standing for duration of shift
• Maneuvering the following types of equipment or machinery: hand cart, blenders, knives, slicers, wine keys, and other tools listed in the training manual
