Business to Business Outside Sales
About the role
FASTSIGNS is seeking an Outside Sales Professional to join our team in the sign and graphics industry. This role offers the flexibility of regular Monday-Friday business hours with weekends and holidays off.
Responsibilities
- Work with people across different industries to provide solutions that make an impact in and around their workplace.
- Meet with clients, assess their needs, prospect for new business, network, develop and execute customer solutions, and manage customer relationships.
- Sell a customized and ever-expanding product line based on customer needs and desires.
- Identify and develop sales prospects and leads through business referrals and networking, outbound phone and email campaigns, and face-to-face meetings with large and small business customers.
- Collaborate with graphic designers, internal production staff, and custom fabrication vendors/partners to produce and deliver outstanding graphics and signage solutions.
- Manage customer expectations and resolve any customer satisfaction issues.
Requirements
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent professional experience in sales may also be considered.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an outside sales or business development role is desired. Experience in the sign and graphics industry is a plus, but not a requirement.
- Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and negotiate effectively with clients. Comfort with presenting and explaining product offerings to a diverse client base.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM systems and sales software. Familiarity with cloud-based point-of-sale systems is a plus. Basic proficiency in Google Suite is required.
- Business Acumen: Understanding of business-to-business sales, with the ability to identify client needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
- Self-Starter: The ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet sales targets and goals.
- Travel: Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and be willing to travel within the local area for client meetings and networking events.
