Business Tax Services Manager/Senior Manager

About the role

Responsible for managing client portfolios, leading tax teams, and providing high-quality tax advice within a dynamic, innovative environment. The position involves understanding US GAAP tax rules, assessing tax impacts, and developing strategies for clients. Senior Managers also contribute to market activities, mentor team members, and oversee multiple client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships and act as a primary contact for internal and external stakeholders
• Lead and direct tax professionals and support staff on various projects
• Analyze and interpret US GAAP tax regulations affecting clients
• Oversee engagement risk, financial performance, billing, collections, and project budgets
• Deliver expert tax advice, develop tax strategies, and support clients' tax planning
• For Senior Managers: participate in business development, provide team mentorship, and oversee multiple client engagements

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum five years of recent corporate tax experience supporting alternative investments; prior manager experience in public accounting
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; CPA, JD/LLM, or EA credentials preferred or required within one year of hire
• Proficiency in taxation of corporations, partnerships, and flow-through entities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex financial concepts
• For Senior Managers: at least eight years of relevant experience, with strong skills in reviewing tax returns and managing client service teams
