About the role
We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst with 13+ years of experience and a current IIBA CBAP or PMI PBA certification. This role requires an in-person interview and involves leading business process reengineering initiatives, database transformation, and .NET web application development.
Responsibilities
- Lead internal and external stakeholder communications and outreach, including developing presentations and materials to promote rethinking of core business processes and envisioning reengineered environments.
- Serve as the Lead Business Analyst on projects utilizing recognized business process management methodologies (e.g., elicitation and documenting of business process requirements, business process modeling, As-Is and To-Be workflow development, gap analysis, UML).
- Lead Business Requirements Projects, applying strategies to gather and document business process requirements for new applications.
- Analyze, normalize, and transform legacy databases (specifically MS Access) into enterprise-level relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
- Act as a technical liaison between business stakeholders, software vendors, and application developers to translate business requirements into technical system designs.
- Use system modeling and design tools (e.g., MS Visio, UML, ERD tools) to map data structures and system workflows.
- Develop and implement multi-tier .NET Framework and .NET Core web applications using C# code, leveraging ASP.NET patterns such as Web Forms and Model-View-Controller (MVC).
Requirements
- 84 months of experience in stakeholder communications and business process reengineering.
- 84 months of experience as a Lead Business Analyst using business process management methodologies (e.g., UML, gap analysis).
- 60 months of experience analyzing, normalizing, and transforming legacy MS Access databases into enterprise-level relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
- 60 months of experience acting as a technical liaison between business stakeholders, software vendors, and developers.
- 48 months of experience using system modeling and design tools (e.g., MS Visio, UML, ERD tools).
- 48 months of experience developing and implementing multi-tier .NET Framework and .NET Core web applications using C# and ASP.NET patterns (Web Forms, MVC).
- Master’s Degree in a computer or technology-related field.
- Valid (active) IIBA CBAP or PMI PBA certification.
