Responsibilities
The Senior Business Systems Analyst is responsible for:
- Accurate creation, assembly, and communication of reports and detailed analysis needed by various internal and external customers.
- Developing and operationalizing new concepts and ideas for improving services and providing information on cost reduction options.
- Gathering data through various means, including mining computer data, reviewing competitor data, and analyzing industry trends.
- Project management as needed.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a strong working knowledge of various software packages.
- Experience mining and reporting data using tools such as Microsoft Office Access, Microsoft SQL Server Report Builder, Crystal Reports, or similar reporting tools.

- Minimum of three years of healthcare or business analyst experience required.
- Clinical healthcare experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, accounting, economics, statistics, information science or similar required.
- A combination of similar education, certifications, and work experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
- Standing, walking, stooping, and occasional carrying and lifting of lightweight materials (up to 20 pounds).
- May be required to sit for extended periods of time.
- Requires visual acuity and depth perception to recognize words and numbers; and hand and finger dexterity and hand/eye coordination to use a computer keyboard and common office equipment.
