Duration: 5+ Months Location: MN-Inver Grove Heights, Hybrid 1-2 days onsite Overview: Every Turnberry consultant belongs to a practice, an internal group of consultants and leaders with shared experience and expertise. Each of these practices aligns to one of the core services Turnberry offers to clients. As a Senior Business Systems Analyst (Trading), you will join Turnberry's Business Transformation practice. Turnberry's Business Transformation practice is dedicated to diagnosing and addressing core business challenges including regulatory compliance, full-scale implementation, managing change and driving continuous improvement across transformation initiatives. Responsibilities Project Delivery and Business AnalysisLead end-to-end business analysis for hedging and trade initiatives, from discovery through stabilization and hypercareGuide documentation of current and future-state processes, including process maps, controls, handoffs, and exception handling across front-to-back trade flowsTranslate business needs into clear, testable requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentationPartner with solution architects, product owners, and delivery teams to support solution design, configuration approach, and integration touchpointsIdentify data and reporting needs (positions, exposures, P&L, settlements, confirmations) and support alignment on definitions, sources, and reconciliation expectationsSupport planning and execution of System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test strategy input, test case review, and execution coordinationDrive defect triage and resolution workflows: reproduce issues, document impacts, prioritize with stakeholders, and coordinate fixes with vendors and internal teamsSupport deployment readiness activities, including cutover planning inputs, operational readiness checks, and stakeholder communicationsApplication, Integration, and Production SupportProvide functional and techno-functional support for hedging and trade applications, including day-to-day issue intake, analysis, and resolution coordinationSupport integration monitoring and troubleshooting across upstream/downstream systems (e.g., market data, confirmations, settlements, accounting interfaces, reporting)Coordinate with vendors and internal support teams to manage escalations, track SLAs, and ensure timely resolution of production issuesMaintain and improve support models, including intake processes, triage playbooks, escalation paths, and operational runbooksAnalyze incidents and service requests, perform root-cause investigation, and document findings, workarounds, and permanent corrective actionsDevelop and maintain operational documentation to improve support consistency and reduce recurring issuesSupport production stabilization efforts by identifying recurring defects, process gaps, and control weaknesses and recommend and drive remediation plansParticipate in change management and release readiness activities to ensure supportability, clear ownership, and smooth transitions to operationsCollaboration and InfluenceServe as a trusted partner to stakeholders and communicate clearly across business and technical audiencesFacilitate decision-making by presenting options, impacts, dependencies, and trade-offs and drive alignment on requirements and delivery outcomesPromote disciplined delivery practices, including scope control, requirements quality, traceability, and test evidenceMentor junior analysts and contribute to continuous improvement of analysis standards, templates, and delivery practices Qualifications 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst supporting commodity trading and hedging processes in a functional or techno-functional capacityProven delivery experience across requirements, process mapping, solution design support, SIT/UAT coordination, defect triage, deployment readiness, and hypercareExperience supporting production applications, including incident analysis, root-cause investigation, vendor coordination, and operational documentationAbility to translate complex business needs into clear, testable requirements and to manage traceability through testing and releaseStrong facilitation and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to drive alignment across multiple teams and prioritiesExcellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and professionalism Preferred Qualifications Experience with ION XTP (or similar ION platforms) supporting trade processing, integrations, and operational workflowsExperience with ION Openlink (Endur/Openlink) in a functional or techno-functional role supporting trading and risk operationsExperience working in regulated or controlled environments with strong attention to auditability, controls, and operational risk managementFamiliarity with market data, pricing, and reference data concepts as they relate to trading and risk reporting The salary range for this role is $110,000 to $160,000 or the hourly equivalent.
