Business Systems Analyst - (Mobile Apps)
This position is located at our client site five days a week in either Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Dallas, TX, or Birmingham, AL. For this role on this particular client engagement, employer sponsorship of immigration related visa and/or green card status as part of the PERM process will not be available.

CGI is hiring a Business System Analyst with banking knowledge to join our dynamic Mobile Application Development team. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Business users, portfolio managers, compliance teams, and operations stakeholders to understand business needs.
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
- Translate complex Mobile Lending workflows into system requirements.
- Conduct impact analysis for new features, regulatory changes, or system enhancements.
- Work closely with UI/UX designers, developers, QA teams, and product owners to deliver seamless client-facing and advisor-facing applications.
- Define and refine user journeys, wireframes, and acceptance criteria for mobile and web platforms.
- Ensure alignment between business requirements and technical implementation.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and engineering teams.
- Facilitate workshops, requirement sessions, and sprint ceremonies (backlog grooming, sprint planning, demos).
- Manage expectations across multiple stakeholders and ensure timely communication of progress, risks, and dependencies.
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support iterative delivery.
- Maintain product backlogs, requirement traceability matrices (RTMs), and documentation repositories.
- Support prioritization of features based on business value and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with QA teams to define test scenarios, UAT plans, and acceptance criteria.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Identify and track defects, ensuring timely resolution.
- Analyze financial and client data to support decision-making.
- Define reporting and dashboard requirements for portfolios, performance, and analytics.
- Work with data teams on integrations involving market data, portfolio systems, and CRM platforms.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst gathering requirements and managing stakeholders.
- Strong expertise in SQL (mandatory).
- Hands-on experience working with large datasets and data analysis.
- Experience with REST API (Swagger, Postman).
- Experience creating Wireframes (Figma, Balsamiq).
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with data warehousing concepts.
- Exposure to data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data pipelines.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams.
Pay
A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $62,900.00 - $139,300.00.
