About the role
The position is a contract role estimated to last 24 months. The salary range for this Business Systems Analyst role is $75,900 - $137,300 annually, with an expected pay scale of $75,900 - $106,600 annually. Offers are based on a variety of factors including education, experience, and organizational needs.
Responsibilities
- Support UCPath related campus financial tools and systems, from data input to integration with campus financial systems.
- Conduct systems analysis, fit-gap analysis, data analysis, process design and/or process redesign.
- Create business and functional requirement documents, develop training materials, and deliver training.
- Manage projects as needed.
- Support UCPath initiatives of assigned functional responsibilities.
- Participate in UCPath project initiatives as assigned.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in related field.
- 4 - 7 years of related experience.
- Experience with shared service center practices and technologies.
- Thorough knowledge of business and process analysis functions.
- Strong skills and knowledge of methodologies associated with analysis of processes and problems, information flow and architecture.
- In-depth understanding and skill in process and systems requirement documentation standards, such as Use Case modeling, User Story creations and narrative description.
- Demonstrated ability to work with others from diverse backgrounds.
- Self-motivated and works independently and as part of a team.
- Able to learn effectively and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrates problem solving skills.
- Broad knowledge relating to software design.
- Demonstrated testing and test planning skills.
- Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Communicates technical information to technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization.
- Interpersonal and communications skills to work with both technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization.
- Thorough knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Visio, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project.
- Knowledge and proficiency in SharePoint.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in related field.
- 4 - 7 years of related experience.
- Business Analyst, Time and Attendance implementation experience in a higher education environment.
- Experience working in higher education environment.
