Systems/Business Analyst (contract)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical professional to join our team in a dynamic role that bridges the gap between business strategy and technology solutions. In this position, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, analyzing, and modifying systems across a variety of applications, while serving as a critical communication link between business stakeholders and IT teams. You will play a key role in shaping the direction of technical solutions by defining system objectives, preparing detailed design specifications, and ensuring that all systems align with organizational goals and client needs.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, analyze, and modify systems for various business and technical applications
• Define system objectives and prepare comprehensive system design specifications
• Gather and analyze client business requirements to identify challenges and develop effective solutions
• Act as the primary communication liaison between business units and IT teams
• Identify and resolve interface problems and system integration issues
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure system designs meet functional and technical requirements
• Document system processes, workflows, and technical specifications
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements or enhancements
• Facilitate meetings and workshops to elicit requirements and present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ensure solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in systems analysis, business analysis, or a related field
• Proven experience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements
• Demonstrated experience working as a liaison between business and IT teams
• Experience with system design, implementation, and modification across multiple application types
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
• Relevant certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or equivalent are a plus

Pay Rate Range

• 64.62 - 86.15 USD hourly
