Business Solutions Manager

About the role

National Public Accounting company seeking an experienced Business Solutions Manager to join their team in Southern California. Positions available in Woodland Hills, Irvine, Los Angeles, Oxnard, Riverside, or Torrance, CA. Hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate thorough understanding of double‑entry accounting.
• Perform accounting tasks including processing, transactions, and maintenance of accounting records.
• Apply U.S. GAAP and working knowledge of taxation (individual, corporate, sales, property & business taxes).
• Travel to client or other firm office locations as necessary.
• Identify issues and recommend solutions; work independently and within a team.

Requirements

• Minimum 7‑10 years’ experience in accounting, with recent experience as an account manager or equivalent in industry finance or public accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in accounting or a related field.
• Business‑level fluency in English (read, write, speak).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with additional accounting software such as Xero, Intacct, NetSuite, Bill.com, or Concur.
• Bilingual in Spanish or another language (advantage).
• Specialized accounting knowledge in a particular industry or area.
• Current and valid CPA license or equivalent.

Skills

• Strong computer skills, proficiency in Excel.
• Knowledge of at least one accounting software program (e.g., QuickBooks Online).
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Self‑starter with problem‑solving and teamwork abilities.

Pay

$145,000 – $170,000 per year.
