Position Summary

SIGN is seeking a Business Services Director to serve as an executive champion and operational leader for our organization. This role will lead and optimize SIGN’s financial, legal/compliance, technology, human resources, and business operations. As a strategic leader, the Director will optimize cohesion, efficiency, and cross-operational harmony to these functional areas. Reporting directly to the CEO, they will collaborate closely with internal leadership to champion legal/regulatory compliance, financial efficiency, proactive risk management, and technology optimization organization wide. The Director’s goal is to build resilient systems that support, resource, and elevate the day-to-day work of our established teams.

Position Responsibilities

  • Executive Leadership & Oversight of Business Services
    • Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day oversight for financial, legal/compliance, technology, human resources, and business operations.
  • Compliance, Risk Management & Internal Collaboration
    • Collaborate with internal leadership to ensure strict legal adherence, proactive risk management, and regulatory compliance organization wide.
  • Strategic Planning
    • Work with the CEO and leadership team to develop strategic plans that support SIGN’s mission.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Technology, Health Sciences, or a related field. An MBA or advanced professional degree is desired.
  • Professional Experience: 3+ years of progressive leadership experience in business operations, corporate services, or financial management.
  • Cross-Functional Knowledge: Deep expertise in running complex financial, human resources, technology, or regulatory operations.
  • Strategic Resource Management: Demonstrated experience analyzing operational expenses and strategically allocating resources (such as technology infrastructure) to maximize efficiency.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Strong familiarity with navigating legal frameworks, labor laws, financial controls, and regulatory compliance standards is preferred.

What we offer

  • Pay and Benefits: $100-160k depending on experience. SIGN offers a competitive benefits package featuring: Medical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life Insurance, FSA, HSA, 401K with Employer match up to 4%.
