Business Program Manager, Data Center Operations
About the role
A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

- Act as the primary finance business partner for infrastructure projects and site launches, ensuring financial compliance and alignment with strategic goals.
- Drive agreement governance and vendor performance, utilizing benchmarking tools to analyze unit costs and identify redundancy reduction opportunities.
- Lead vendor relationship management, including conflict resolution and extended workforce onboarding, while executing cross-functional assignments in evolving environments.
- Oversee the end-to-end procurement lifecycle by obtaining facilities-related vendor proposals, preparing and managing Statements of Work (SOWs) and purchase orders, and managing on-site vendors under the direction of the Facility Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in program or project management.
- Experience in accounting and managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with facilities management and data center critical infrastructure, including Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and legal compliance processes.
- Experience planning and managing capital expenditures and operational expenditures budgets, including financial forecasting, accrual reporting, and variance analysis.
- Experience managing multi-year/multi-million dollar service agreements, strategic vendor relationships, and end-to-end procurement lifecycles (RFP/RFQ, SOWs, and FSAs).
- Ability to collect, synthesize, and visualize complex data sources to identify operational gaps and drive process standardization or cost-reduction recommendations.
- Strong collaboration and executive communication skills with a track record of implementing continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., LEAN, Six Sigma).
