About the role

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to co-ordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project goals and deliverables through a structured timeline roadmap to align stakeholder expectations, communicate plans and co-ordinate resources.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to diagnose work problems, define program goals, prioritize deliverables, and evaluate program impact.
  • Execute comprehensive risk identification and assessment activities covering budget, schedule, resource, and technical risks while developing mitigation plans and tracking their evolution and influence on project/program objectives.
  • Establish and monitor stakeholder-aligned processes, drive accountability across teams, secure resources, ensure compliance with privacy policies, identify improvement, opportunities, and promote the adoption of optimized workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience in accounting and managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with project planning, status reporting, timeline estimation, issue tracking, meeting facilitation, or process documentation.
  • Experience in stakeholder management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively on a team, be adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment, and manage priorities.
  • Ability to build relationships and deliver results in a cross-functional environment.
