Business Process Expert (BPE)

As the Business Process Expert (BPE) of Supply Chain Planning, you will enable the efficient and effective performance, integration, and governance of supply chain planning business processes. This role supports the adoption of new, creative, and ambitious solutions to meet strategic challenges. You will report to the Planning Centre of Excellence Director and be part of the Global Supply Chain Organization, based at one of our key sites in Duncan, SC; Westborough, MA; or Logan, UT.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a visible, leading, and supporting partner for the user community—gather, understand, analyze, and document business objectives, specifications, and requirements.
- Provide training, improve ERP utilization, build test scenarios, support and complete testing, and ensure alignment between end-user needs and strategic direction.
- Act as the solution expert for ERP planning modules and planning support systems, leading process automation and improvement initiatives.
- Develop subject matter experts (SMEs) and partner with them in cross-functional initiatives, building relationships with organizational leaders to address bottlenecks in the supply chain.
- Deliver robust global processes and technology template standardization across ERPs, fostering an environment of continuous improvement.
- Develop long-term strategies for process and technology optimization, creating a logical roadmap to standardize improvements across the global organization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of SAP and/or Oracle experience in commercial, manufacturing, and logistics operational roles in multicultural environments, with proven experience in continuous process improvement.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and integration points, with a focus on planning enabled through technology.
- Excellent project management, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Experience in enterprise-level SAP and/or Oracle projects using waterfall methodology, including knowledge of systems configuration and EDI flows.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, simplifying complex solutions.
- Domestic and international travel up to 50%.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as Lean/Six Sigma, APICS Certification, or Project Management qualifications (e.g., Prince2, PMP).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, matrixed, and ambiguous environment.

Pay
The annual salary range for this role is $100,000 - $125,000. This role is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
