We seek a Business Process Consultant to identify, design, and implement process optimizations that improve operational efficiency. This remote, long-term opportunity is based in the EST time zone and requires U.S. work authorization without visa sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Assess existing business processes to identify inefficiencies, gaps, redundancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Design, map, analyze, and implement optimized business processes that improve efficiency, quality, cost savings, and scalability.
- Lead process improvement initiatives from discovery and analysis through implementation and adoption.
- Develop process maps, workflows, value streams, and automation opportunities.
- Analyze process performance and identify opportunities to reduce cycle time, manual effort, errors, and operational costs.
- Partner with business stakeholders to document current-state processes and define future-state processes.
- Develop actionable recommendations based on process analysis, stakeholder input, and business objectives.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual, repetitive, or inefficient processes and support implementation of automation solutions.
- Facilitate working sessions and stakeholder meetings to gather requirements, align on solutions, and drive decisions.
- Communicate and document complex information and recommendations clearly to senior-level audiences.
- Create polished, executive-ready PowerPoint presentations that communicate process findings, recommendations, business impacts, and implementation plans.
- Present recommendations, project updates, and status to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
- Monitor implementation results and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and quality.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5-7+ years in business process, process optimization, or business process consulting roles.
- Strong consultative leadership skills demonstrating success leading business process improvement and optimization initiatives.
- Ability to translate process opportunities into business requirements to support process automation efforts.
- Proven experience analyzing, redesigning, and implementing business processes to improve efficiency, quality, consistency, and scalability.
- Experience identifying opportunities for automation, reductions in manual efforts, and implementation support of automation solutions.
- Strong experience partnering with business and functional stakeholders to assess current-state processes, identify gaps, and define future-state solutions.
- Experience developing executive-level business cases, recommendations, roadmaps, and status presentations.
- Strong experience with process mapping and workflow tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or similar platforms.
- Exceptional Microsoft PowerPoint and executive presentation skills, with the ability to develop polished, compelling presentations for senior and executive-level audiences.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Power BI, or similar business and technology tools.
- Experience supporting organizational transformation, operational excellence, or continuous improvement efforts in large enterprise or complex matrixed environments.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality deliverables.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability to facilitate stakeholder working sessions, drive alignment, and support adoption of new processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Pay
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, the expected salary range for this long-term consulting engagement is $110,000–$125,000. Factors such as years of experience, education, geographic location, unique skills, and certifications may influence final compensation.
