Business Process Analyst
About the role
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will work as part of a highly techno-functional team responsible for overall process and system design, development, and deployment of sustainable technical and application solutions to meet business requirements. Strong organizational skills, technical expertise, and attention to detail are key in this role. You will serve as the business domain and technology subject matter expert for Quote to Cash teams, with a thorough understanding of both business processes and technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Provide overall Business Analysis, design, and support of system solutions for internal Quote to Cash teams to address business needs.
- Collaborate with management and cross-functional peers on long-range projects requiring creative solutions.
- Engage with IT and business stakeholders to ensure alignment of technology solutions with business goals.
- Collaborate with end users to understand new system requirements and existing capabilities, and their impact on process and policy.
- Work closely with technology delivery and development teams to ensure business requirements are delivered in a user-friendly format.
- Lead and deliver business requirements in the form of projects, programs, and individual enhancements.
- Triage system bugs or enhancement requests to derive prioritization and alignment with corporate objectives.
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing for new requirements, enhancements, or bug fixes with requesting business teams.
- Assist with resolving business escalations during enhancements and project implementations, overcoming technical difficulties in alignment with technical teams.
- Partner with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to create and document solution options and high-level design related to functional and non-functional requirements.
- Review feedback from stakeholders, support managers, and data to identify and advocate for continuous improvement in business domain or technology, including automations, process changes, or lifecycle management.
Requirements
- 8+ years of strong working experience and in-depth understanding of Core ERP and CPQ functions and related processes.
- Business process expertise across the end-to-end Quote to Invoice lifecycle.
- Experience working with Oracle, Salesforce, DevOps, and Jira as a business analyst.
- Ability to elicit requirements and design detailed process flows capturing User, Data, and Systems flows in tools such as Visio or Lucidchart.
- Experience analyzing and supporting new requirements on Quote to Invoice process flows.
- Strong history of user support and defect triage from a business perspective to support technical fixes.
- Oracle upgrade or implementation experience is preferred.
- Strong understanding of project planning and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) processes.
- Solid understanding of various cloud types, including IAAS, PAAS, and SAAS.
- Must have solid understanding of Private Cloud ecosystem solution approaches; private or hybrid cloud solution enablement or implementation for business solutions is an added advantage.
- Working experience with Oracle CPQ and its interactions with Oracle ERP.
- Ability to work cross-functionally to support major milestones and key initiatives.
- Must be a team player with strong communication skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree a plus.
Pay
The target salary range for this position is $100,300 – $149,600 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range.
