About the role
The Business Planning and Analytical Lead is responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans that align with the company's goals. This individual will analyze market trends, financial data, and customer feedback to provide insights that drive decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive business plans that support organizational objectives
- Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data and market trends to inform strategic decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business strategies and operational processes
- Prepare and present reports to senior leadership on key performance indicators and strategic initiatives
- Stay current with industry developments and regulatory changes that impact business planning and analysis
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business planning, financial analysis, or a similar role
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Qualifications
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective business strategies
- Experience working with large datasets and conducting complex analyses
- Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
- Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements in financial reporting
Skills
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, macros, and VBA
- Experience with statistical software such as SPSS or SAS
- Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting standards
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
