Business Operations Specialist

We are seeking a Business Operations Specialist to join our team at TekSynap, a fast-growing high-tech company focused on delivering comprehensive information management solutions for Federal Government customers.

About the role

Apply specialized business process and technical expertise to support complex logistics management applications and operational environments. Analyze highly complex functional and operational challenges and recommend practical approaches for successful implementation. Provide guidance on functional systems analysis, solution design, integration considerations, documentation, and implementation activities. Contribute to software development lifecycle activities with emphasis on planning, analysis, testing, integration, documentation, and presentations. Collaborate with program stakeholders to translate subject matter knowledge into actionable support for system improvements and operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Support complex logistics management applications and operational environments using specialized business process and technical expertise.
• Analyze highly complex functional and operational challenges and recommend practical implementation approaches.
• Provide guidance on functional systems analysis, solution design, integration considerations, documentation, and implementation activities.
• Contribute to software development lifecycle activities, including planning, analysis, testing, integration, documentation, and presentations.
• Collaborate with program stakeholders to translate subject matter knowledge into actionable support for system improvements and operational needs.

Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
• Active Secret – IT II (Tier 3) Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).

Work Environment

• Location: Mechanicsburg, PA metropolitan area.
• Type: Hybrid – must be available to periodically support meetings in the Mechanicsburg, PA area.
• Noise level: Medium.
• Schedule: Day shift, Monday – Friday. May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
• Travel: Up to 10%.

Pay

Target salary range: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00. The range is an estimate and may vary based on education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, contract parameters, and organizational requirements.
