Business Operations Specialist

About the role

This role supports DoD space operations and Combatant Commands and Service Component Commands. The ideal candidate will use critical thinking, change management experience, and project management skills to help government customers solve organizational challenges.

Responsibilities

• Supports the identification of long-term goals and the creation of processes to achieve them.
• Uses critical thinking skills to analyze and improve organizational systems.
• Develops, organizes, and presents materials for senior company and DoD leadership.
• Manages workflows and plans performance metrics.
• Manages up to 25% travel for customer engagements.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience supporting DoD space operations.
• 1+ years of experience supporting Combatant Commands and Service Component Commands.
• Knowledge of U.S. Space Force organizational construct and mission.
• Ability to research, develop, organize, and present materials for senior company and DoD leadership.
• Ability to manage workflows and plan performance metrics.
• Up to 25% travel required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Secret clearance.

Skills

• Experience with task management and event facilitation.
• Experience with technical writing and presentation development.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• The estimated annual salary range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD).

Pay

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

Schedule

Employees are expected to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently, in alignment with leadership expectations and the needs of the role. You may also be required to work from or visit a customer facility.
