About the Role
The Business Operations - Implementation Team Lead is responsible for leading the implementation and onboarding function for the organization’s portfolio of college and university partnerships. This role ensures that new partner implementations are managed efficiently and effectively, contributing to the organization’s ability to deliver timely and quality services to its partners. The position plays a critical role in coordinating cross-functional teams, managing risk, and developing scalable processes that support the organization’s growth and partner success.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end portfolio of new partner implementations, including reporting and coordination with partner contacts.
- Supervise two Partner Operations Managers to ensure successful onboarding and delivery.
- Develop repeatable project plans with clear dependencies, timelines, and deliverables.
- Own the risk management framework to anticipate and mitigate implementation challenges.
- Provide data engagement expertise to maintain data standards and quality.
- Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and enhance the customer experience.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation of partner and program details throughout implementation.
- Transition completed workstreams to internal teams such as Partner Success, Data, Marketing, and Product.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in client-facing or account support roles managing projects end-to-end.
- Experience leading project managers or implementation teams.
- Project management or coordination experience; CAPM certification or similar is a plus.
- Skilled in gathering requirements from multiple business units.
- Experience with student and higher education data.
- Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM systems.
- Strong skills in Google Workspace and Excel.
- Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Pay
Compensation: $82,000–$92,000 per year.
