About the Role
Our client, a professional services organization, is seeking a Business Operations Coordinator to support daily office operations while owning the new hire onboarding experience. This role offers a unique blend of employee experience, operational coordination, budgeting support, project work, and leadership assistance. The ideal candidate brings 4+ years of experience in business operations, HR, or professional services support environments.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding and new hire experience from pre-boarding through orientation and training.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to improve processes, documentation, and employee experience initiatives.
- Assist with budgeting, invoice processing, expense reconciliation, and operational reporting.
- Coordinate vendors, office projects, workplace logistics, events, and special initiatives.
- Provide administrative support including calendar coordination, travel assistance, and expense reporting for leadership.
- Act as a key resource for visitors, office hospitality, front desk coverage, and day-to-day office support needs.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming workplace environment while supporting office growth and operational excellence.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in business operations, onboarding, HR operations, workplace experience, office management, or administrative support.
- Experience coordinating onboarding programs, training materials, process improvements, or employee experience initiatives.
- Strong project management, organizational, and multitasking abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
- Exposure to budgeting, expense tracking, invoice management, or related financial administrative functions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a polished, service-oriented, hands-on approach.
