Business Office Supervisor - FT - Outpatient
About the role
BJC Outpatient Imaging is seeking a Business Office Supervisor for a Full-Time, Monday-Friday position at their outpatient imaging centers in Saint Louis, Missouri. This position will lead the Scheduling and Pre-Authorization teams and rotate between the new Sunset Hills and Chesterfield centers.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate and lead the Imaging Center team in providing excellent patient care and supporting operational goals.
- Customer and patient-facing responsibilities including welcoming, registering, and overall patient coordination.
- Phone correspondence, scheduling appointments, inventory, and medical record management.
- Training, supervision, and management of Business Office team members.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience with Radiology pre-authorizations.
- Ability to work independently and multitask.
- Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Knowledge of computer applications and Microsoft Office.
