Business Office Supervisor - FT - Outpatient

About the role

BJC Outpatient Imaging is seeking a Business Office Supervisor for a Full-Time, Monday-Friday position at their outpatient imaging centers in Saint Louis, Missouri. This position will lead the Scheduling and Pre-Authorization teams and rotate between the new Sunset Hills and Chesterfield centers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate and lead the Imaging Center team in providing excellent patient care and supporting operational goals.
• Customer and patient-facing responsibilities including welcoming, registering, and overall patient coordination.
• Phone correspondence, scheduling appointments, inventory, and medical record management.
• Training, supervision, and management of Business Office team members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with Radiology pre-authorizations.
• Ability to work independently and multitask.
• Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Knowledge of computer applications and Microsoft Office.
