About the role
The Business Office Director at Arbor Terrace Naperville is responsible for managing all business and office functions, including billing, accounts receivable, payables, and payroll. They also oversee human resources processes such as hiring, onboarding, and compliance with training systems.
Responsibilities
- Billing and accounts receivable management
- Payables and payroll administration
- Human resources management including hiring, onboarding, and compliance with training systems
- Helping to set a professional and caring tone for the community
Requirements
- A minimum of three to five years of financial management experience, preferably in a senior living setting
- Familiarity with monthly P&L statements and departmental budgeting
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to mentor and coach team members
- Proficiency in Windows applications and accounting systems
- Experience with staff management including hiring, training, and scheduling
Qualifications
- A degree in business, accounting, or a related field
- Experience in a senior living environment preferred
