About the role
The Customer Service Office Clerk provides clerical support to the Customer Service and Financial Assistance Teams. This is an entry-level, routine position with a high degree of repetitive tasks. Some light lifting and moving of boxes may be required. Internal contacts are primarily within your work group and other departments throughout the organization.
Responsibilities
- Answers incoming phone calls
- Triages incoming faxes to the correct departments
- Responds to customer and staff balance inquiries
- Organizes incoming and outgoing mail and faxes
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- One year clerical experience preferred
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Experience or training on computers preferred

Pay
The pay scale for this position is $18.51 - $25.47 USD per hour. Compensation is influenced by factors such as skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will reflect the appropriate step on the pay scale based on the applicant’s years of experience.

This is a part-time position with a day shift. FTE: 0.02.
