Business Manager-Customer Experience

What you will do

• Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analyses and clear recommendations
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure data accuracy, shared definitions, and coordinated business objectives
• Deliver executive level insights, narratives, and presentations
• Identify gaps and opportunities to generate business insights, dashboards, etc.
• Develop enablement programs to secure acceptance at merchants across the U.S.

General Responsibilities

• Strategic leadership: Develop business strategies that drive growth, profitability, and competitive success for Capital One in response to shifting consumer and regulatory demands
• Execution: Manage and sequence delivery of business intent, build business requirements, and execute product strategy
• Partnership: Work closely with colleagues across Capital One including IT, Sales, Operations, Finance, and others to improve quality, volume, service, and profitability
• Strategic & analytic orientation: Make decisions and solve problems based on analytics, complemented by a strong quantitative orientation
• Strong business judgment, leadership, and integrity: Be a tenacious decision maker with a responsible approach to business
• Solid people leadership experience: Build and leverage high-performing teams and business partners across the enterprise
• Executive communication skills: Communicate effectively, influence, and drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal, and negotiation skills

Basic Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional experience performing analysis
• Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:
• A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer engineering, Software engineering, Mechanical engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)
• A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)
• A Master’s Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in analysis
• 2+ years of experience in financial services
• 1+ year of experience in consulting
• 2+ years of experience in people management

Preferred Qualifications
