Business Manager

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Completes financial, operational, or technical project analysis
• Led value added projects, including report development, business case modeling, and asset optimization
• Cultivates innovation to optimize work processes through automation
• Ensures compliance with power purchase agreements, financings, regulatory, and other requirements
• Conducts analysis on operational drivers and emerging risks impacting the business and proactively identify opportunities for improvement
• Manages and improves the optimization of asset interaction with energy markets
• Builds and maintains close working relationships with both internal and external customers and stakeholders
• Builds routine and ad-hoc presentations to communicate key items to leadership
• Trains and mentors Business Management Analysts

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 4+ years of experience

Job Overview

• Supports the overall P and L management of one or more NextEra generating assets or upstream/midstream assets that have achieved commercial operation.
• Supports strategic decision-making with respect to such assets, including hedging, operations and maintenance.
• Identifies opportunities and analyzes the impact on company financials to maximize P and L profitability.
