Business Litigation Counsel - Houston

About the role

Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP seeks an experienced Business Litigation Counsel to join its Houston, Texas office. This is an off-track Counsel position with a reduced billable-hour requirement and no expectation for business development or firm management responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a practicing litigator in connection with complex business disputes
• strong desire to work in a fast-paced litigation practice
• excellent understanding of civil procedure
• experience in taking and defending depositions
• managing and/or supervising litigation cases
• significant court room experience
• admitted to the Texas bar or eligible for immediate admission
• excellent academic credentials
• outstanding written and oral communication skills, including complex motion practice and interacting with clients
