Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of sophisticated experience as a practicing attorney handling complex environmental regulatory, environmental litigation, and other complex business and commercial matters.
  • Strong regulatory and litigation background, including navigating state and federal administrative agencies as well as federal and state court systems; courtroom experience such as motion hearings or other appearances is strongly preferred.
  • Outstanding legal research writing skills are required; federal clerkship experience is highly preferred, reflecting strong training in legal research and writing.
  • Extensive experience with administrative law, agency proceedings, and/or regulatory enforcement or challenges, including matters involving state or federal agencies.
  • Demonstrated experience with environmental law and regulatory matters is strongly preferred, including the ability to interpret and apply complex statutory, regulatory, and agency frameworks.

Pay

$240,000 - $320,000 a year is the estimated salary range for this role in Denver. Starting salary will be determined based on location, qualifications, and experience.
