Business License Specialist

Responsibilities

• Ensure all license renewals and registrations are filed in a complete and timely manner.
• Accurate and complete data entry in License Pro, our license compliance management software.
• Review, understand, and communicate federal, state, and local requirements pertaining to business licenses and permits.
• Respond to third party notices and inquiries related to business licenses and company activities.
• Prepare and analyze data needed for license applications and renewals.
• Maintain effective communication with field finance personnel.
• Assist in the audit process as it relates to business licenses.
• Collaborate with internal teams as needed.

Requirements

• Two-year degree, preferably in Accounting or Business
• 2+ years’ experience in a business license or permit compliance role, or a related field
• Strong analytical and computer skills; Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
• Ambitious and self-motivated
• Ability to work independently and effectively work on multiple tasks simultaneously
• Sound business judgement, accuracy and thoroughness with great attention to detail
• Highly organized with excellent project management skills
• Ability to produce quality work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Licence Pro or similar software experience a plus

Pay

$65,000- $75,000 plus potential annual bonus
