Business Intern (Summer 2027)- Memphis, TN/ Pittsburgh, PA/ Plano, TX

About the role

As a FedEx Intern, you will be working on projects gaining you valuable, real-world experience in a professional environment as it relates to your field of study. Gain hands-on experience supporting Global Solutions and Sales initiatives. Assist with customer transitions, supply chain improvements and business growth projects while learning strategies and tools that enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Present and deliver long-term solutions that will have significant impacts to the business and/or customer experience.
• Participate in various networking and/or community service events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled student or recent college graduate (within 6 months of graduation) at a college/university obtaining a 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Degree in Business or related discipline.
• No experience required.

Qualifications

• Ability to work productively, both independently and as part of a team.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills.
• Time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities while maintaining high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate across business units and to all levels of management.
• Ability to analyze, review, and make recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with AI tools and applications.
• Knowledge of supply chain operations and logistics.
• Preferred majors include Supply Chain, Logistics, and Engineering.

Pay

$25.00/hour for undergraduate students; $30.00/hour for graduate students.

Schedule

Full-time, 10-week internship requiring 40 hours per week from June 7 through August 13, 2027.

Location

This position is eligible for remote work and may be located anywhere within the United States, excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories. Hybrid opportunities may be available in Memphis, TN; Pittsburgh, PA; or Plano, TX. Candidates interested in a hybrid arrangement must reside within 50 miles of their assigned office location. Relocation is not required.
