Business Intern (Summer 2027) - Memphis, TN

About the role

As a FedEx Intern, you will be working on projects gaining you valuable, real-world experience in a professional environment as it relates to your field of study. Work alongside Global Solutions supporting Small and Medium Sales. Gain experience developing supply chain solutions, onboarding customers, utilizing business tools and technology, and shadowing team members to understand sales support operations.

Responsibilities

• Present and deliver long-term solutions that will have significant impacts to the business and/or customer experience.
• Participate in various networking and/or community service events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled student or recent college graduate (within 6 months of graduation) at a college/university with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Degree in Business or related discipline.
• No prior experience required.

Qualifications

• Ability to work productively, both independently and as part of a team.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities while maintaining high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate across business units and to all levels of management.
• Ability to analyze, review, and make recommendations.
• Preferred: Strong written and verbal communication skills; knowledge of supply chain operations and logistics; familiarity with AI tools and applications.
• Preferred areas of study: Supply Chain and Engineering.

Pay

$25.00/hour for undergraduate students; $30.00/hour for graduate students.

Schedule

Summer 2027 Internship: 40 hours/week, June 7–August 13.

Location

Desired location: Memphis, TN; however, this position may be located anywhere within the United States, excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories. Relocation to Memphis, TN, is optional for candidates interested in a hybrid arrangement. A $2,000 relocation stipend may be available for eligible candidates relocating more than 50 miles for an onsite or hybrid internship.
