About the role

Qualus seeks a data professional who supports the collection, analysis, visualization, and reporting of business data to help drive informed decision-making. Working under the guidance of senior team members, you will enable data-driven insights across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret structured data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives.
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools such as Microsoft Power BI to communicate key performance metrics.
  • Perform data extraction, cleansing, validation, and transformation activities to ensure data quality and readiness for reporting and analysis.
  • Write and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to retrieve, manipulate, and validate data from relational databases.
  • Assist in gathering business requirements, documenting reporting needs, and developing analytical solutions that address operational and strategic challenges.
  • Support the development and maintenance of logical and physical data models that enable efficient reporting and analytics.
  • Develop and maintain documentation including report specifications, data dictionaries, business definitions, and technical documentation to support knowledge sharing and long-term maintainability.

Requirements

  • 0–4 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, reporting, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in SQL, DAX, and Microsoft Power BI.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis features.
  • Understanding of relational database concepts, data modeling, and data warehousing principles.
  • Experience creating dashboards, reports, and visualizations that communicate business insights effectively.
  • Familiarity with data cleansing, validation, and quality assurance techniques.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
