Business Intelligence Analyst

Responsibilities

• Provide data research and compilation by working with Branch and Corporate staff to ensure data collection is complete and timely.
• Develop actionable reports, interactive dashboards, ad hoc requests, that show key performance indicators, identify areas of improvement in current operations, and display root cause analysis of problems.
• Maintain scheduled reports and jobs to ensure timely completion per predetermined schedules.
• Demonstrate ability to identify, recommend, and develop analytical reports that reveal underlying trends and insights not readily apparent to end users.
• Create detailed documentation required for analytics and reporting.
• Serve as an embedded BI partner who works directly with departments, business owners, and field leaders to understand their processes, identify opportunities, and design solutions that are practical, accurate, and scalable.
• Able to lead or facilitate meetings and presentations with stakeholders or team members, ensuring discussions stay on track and outcomes are clear.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• SAP Business Objects experience is a plus.
• Experience researching problems, digging deep, and finding solutions.
• Prior experience with compliance, internal audits, and/or documentation is a plus.

Skills and Competencies

• 5 years of SQL experience.
• 3+ years of experience developing Power BI reports, including Power Query, DAX, and data modeling techniques.
• Knowledge of Data Modeling Concepts.
• Familiarity with Snowflake is a plus.
• Organizational skills to plan, organize, and prioritize workload and meet multiple deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent Excel skills required.
