Business Field Technician

About the role

The Business Field Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring customers are connected to what matters most through the installation and repair of commercial and residential products and services. This position requires a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in small and confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair customer service drops or outlets in both residential and business properties.
• Use electronic test equipment and online diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and repair reception performance issues.
• Ensure proper upstream and downstream signal levels at each termination point on the customer’s premises.
• Suggest and educate customers on upgrading their existing services and using their new/existing equipment.
• Take on additional duties as needed to support the company’s Purpose, Brand Principles, and organizational values.

Qualifications

• A good driving record and valid driver’s license in the state you are applying.
• Aptitude and ability to learn to use RF, digital, and Volt-Ohm meters and other related equipment to interpret data and solve problems.
• Flexibility to work overtime and on-call as needed.
• Problem-solving skills when interacting with customers.
• At least 3 months of customer service or related experience and/or training.
• A high school diploma or GED.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is flexible but may require some evening and weekend work, depending on customer demand.
