As a Business Director-Chief of Staff, you aren't just advising on the strategy; you are the architect of its execution. As the primary thought partner to the SVP of USCM, you will serve as a force multiplier for one of our most critical businesses. This is a high-visibility, high-impact platform designed for those who thrive at the intersection of complex strategy and rapid operational delivery.
Responsibilities
You will drive the strategic intent of the department, navigate a matrixed organization to solve ambiguous, high-stakes problems, and own the "rhythm of the business" for the senior leadership team. Your success here isn’t measured by the plans you deliver, but by the tangible impact you drive across cross-functional workstreams, executive narratives, and enterprise initiatives.
- Strategic leadership: Translate business strategies that will drive growth, alignment, and a well-managed environment in the face of shifting payments landscape
- Execution: Manage and sequence delivery of business intent, Oversee multiple projects and programs concurrently
- Partnership: Work closely with colleagues across Global payment Network including: product, technology, strategy, finance and others to drive improvement in quality, volume, service, and profitability
- Strategic; analytic orientation: A proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 4 years of experience performing quantitative analysis
- At least 4 years of experience performing qualitative analysis
- At least 2 years of experience performing people management
- At least 2 years of experience performing project management
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree
- 2+ years of experience in financial services
- 1+ year of experience in consulting
Pay
The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location.
- McLean, VA: $230,400 - $263,000 for Business Director
- Riverwoods, IL: $209,500 - $239,100 for Business Director
- Chicago, IL: $209,500 - $239,100 for Business Director
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long-term incentives (LTI).
