Overview

Orrick currently has an excellent hybrid opportunity for a Business Development Senior Specialist based in any of our U.S. offices. The Opportunity:

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and execute thought leadership campaigns, data management, and technology-led initiatives.
  • Provide support for BD teams on deliverables including lateral integration, event support, client targeting, practice collateral, and biography creation.
  • Collaborate with the SAGE BD leads, participate in team meetings, and contribute to strategic planning and decision-making.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of marketing or business development experience, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.
  • A four-year college degree or equivalent experience required; marketing, business, communications, English, or other related discipline preferred.
  • Ability to balance competing needs and continually prioritize tasks.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate complex information effectively.
  • Ability to assist in planning and organizing projects with attention to detail and a focus on efficiency.
  • Espouses a positive, team-first attitude and works effectively with team members.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with firm marketing systems; proficiency with generative AI tools preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The expected salary range for this position is:

  • New York City, Silicon Valley, and San Francisco: $89,000 - $130,000
  • Washington DC, Los Angeles, Orange County, Santa Monica, Sacramento, Boston, and Seattle: $81,000 - $125,000
  • All Other US Locations: $76,000 - $120,000

This compensation and benefits information is based on the Orrick's estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include, but not limited to, qualifications, relevant experience or education, particular skills or expertise, geography.

Other compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus, which would be determined by Firm and individual performance.
