Job Summary
The Business Development Representative - Marketing is responsible for generating sales opportunities and setting appointments from inbound leads. This role drives sales growth and expands SHI's customer base by ensuring a steady pipeline of qualified leads for the sales team.
Role Description
- Engage prospective customers through outbound calls and email campaigns to generate new business opportunities.
- Qualify inbound leads and marketing-generated inquiries to identify and prioritize sales opportunities.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings between qualified prospects and Account Executives.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align on campaign strategy, messaging, and lead generation initiatives.
- Support the execution of targeted outreach campaigns to drive pipeline growth and brand awareness.
- Maintain and manage lead activity, pipeline data, and engagement metrics within CRM and sales platforms.
- Develop an understanding of customer needs, business challenges, and key buying drivers.
- Position and promote SHI’s products, solutions, and services to prospective customers.
- Build early-stage relationships with potential clients to nurture interest and drive engagement.
- Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and SHI’s evolving portfolio.
- Handle inbound inquiries and provide a positive customer experience across initial touchpoints.

Other Requirements
- Completed Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience required
- Previous experience in sales, marketing, or a similar role preferred
- Fluency in SHI AX, CRM, and Microsoft Office tools preferred
Pay and Benefits
The estimated annual pay range for this position is $50,000 - $65,000, which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
