About the role
The Business Development Rep III / Account Executive I position is a hybrid role combining skills from both positions. The BDR III is responsible for locating, developing, and securing new client relationships for DataServ solutions. The AE I is responsible for identifying new business opportunities and engaging in consultative selling.
Responsibilities
- Locate, develop, and secure new client relationships for DataServ solutions
- Identify and engage in new business opportunities
- Engage decision-makers and convert prospects into opportunities
- Uncover pain points and position solutions to drive revenue growth
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
- Develop and manage client relationships at all levels of an organization
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field
- Minimum 6 to 8 years' experience in a Business Development Rep role
- Minimum 1 to 3 years direct sales experience with complex, intangible, technical solutions
- Business and financial acumen; experience performing ROI analysis and constructing business case models
- Proven track record of success in enterprise-level B2B sales
- Expert in cold calling, outbound prospecting, and lead generation
- Skilled in consultative and value-based selling
- Experience navigating complex sales processes within large organizations
- Self-sufficient and results-driven
- Ability to develop and manage client relationships at all levels of an organization
