Business Development Representative | Commercial Construction
This Jobot Job is hosted by Caitlin Fadden.
About the role
Our client is an established construction organization with a strong reputation and an impressive track record of delivering quality projects. Historically, business development has been driven directly by the owner, who has built the company's network and client relationships from the ground up. As the company continues to grow, they are now creating their first dedicated Business Development role.
This is not an account-management position. Our client is looking for a true business development professional who knows how to hunt for new opportunities, build relationships from scratch, get in front of decision-makers, and ultimately win new business. The person stepping into this role will have the opportunity to build the company's formal business development strategy and create a repeatable pipeline of new opportunities. You'll be responsible for identifying prospective clients and projects, developing relationships, getting the company in front of the right people, and turning those relationships into real opportunities for the construction team.
This is a unique opportunity for a Business Development professional who wants more than another sales territory and a stack of existing accounts. You'll be joining at the ground floor of a new function and will have the opportunity to make the role your own.
