What You Will Do: The Business Development Representative’s primary responsibility focuses on demand generation initiatives and creating pipeline for the Sales team. The Business Development Representative will utilize systems to evaluate intent and engagement from prospects to curate a prospecting list for the Sales team. Core Responsibilities include: Evaluate intent data to create prospect lists for outreach, which includes managing data and marketing listsCreatively identify ways to reach the ideal customer profile (ICP) of IT professionals/SOC analysts/CISOs with the objective of qualifying leads through third party sourcesPlan and prioritize activities to meet assigned targets (e.g. # of prospects found, entries in Salesforce)Achieve lead generation (contacts, leads) targets and objectivesQualify incoming prospects and determine appropriate next stepsEstablish and maintain effective contact with the potential and existing customer base through direct marketing (e.g., email nurture cadences, Cold Calling)Update and maintain accurate records in the customer relationship management systemEstablish and maintain effective working relationships cross-functionally (marketing, sales, CS, product)Execute on other ad hoc marketing initiativesMaintain detailed understanding of IRONSCALES email security solution and programs, allowing Acquisition Specialist to potentially educate clients on a high level Requirements: What We Need from You: Bachelor’s DegreeSelf-starter, creative problem-solver, and highly organizedStrong interpersonal skills with a focus on relationship buildingStrong verbal/written communication skillsData-driven, efficient technology user, and metrics/KPIs focusedFast learner with initiative and willingness to learn new things, test new techniques, and experimentExcitement for and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, always changing environment Business Development Representative will be working with the following tools: Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software (Salesforce)Marketing automation software (Outrech.io, Orum, LinkedIn sales Nav, Dripify)Intent data tools (6Sense/, Zoominfo)Software-as-a-service (SaaS) organization or start-up organization IRONSCALES is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
