About the role
Yancey Bros. Co., founded in 1914, serves as the authorized Caterpillar equipment dealer for Georgia, focusing on high-quality sales, parts, and service for various Caterpillar equipment including heavy and compact construction equipment and on-highway trucks.
Responsibilities
- Support geographic areas of stores to attain business plans through profitable revenue generation
- Work alongside established sales representatives to target the overall account base within an assigned group of accounts selected for growth and activity
- Develop sales skills through customer interaction, quoting, negotiating, and understanding subcontractors
- Generate revenue from underserved, dormant customers and new account generation
- Maintain Salesforce and gain full understanding of its importance
- Gain knowledge of the fleet offering and applications, and provide equipment demonstrations and training
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in safety programs and work safely
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Prior experience in sales with strong leadership skills, competitive nature, and initiative
- Enjoy interacting with people, developing customer relationships, and working in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications
- Six (6) months of inside sales experience preferred
