Job Summary

Physician Partners of America (PPOA) is a fast-growing integrated health organization with multi-site ambulatory surgical centers and medical practices. A Business Development Referral Associate is needed to drive business and develop referral pipelines to PPOA business entities in the assigned region.

Job Description

  • Set-up and attend networking medical events
  • Work in collaboration with BD Manager
  • Organize lunch and learns with referral sources
  • Maintain existing and create new referral source relationships
  • Operate in specific market segments as determined by management
  • Identify new opportunities through lead generation, cold calling, and other networking sources, consistent with Physician Partners of America values

Job Requirements

  • High school Diploma - Associate or Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
  • Beginning sales experience such as retail or customer service
  • Reliable transportation that can pass a MVR screening
  • Ability to build business relationships with excellent communication skills
  • Understand the basic skill of Microsoft Office Knowledge
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency to achieve outcomes
  • Demonstrate verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced, changing environment
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Experience working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment is a must
