Business Development Representative
About the role
The Business Development Representative is responsible for driving new logo acquisition within assigned territories and Micro/Mini customer segments. This role emphasizes proactive outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and strategic solution positioning, while owning the full sales cycle through deal close.
Success in this role requires identifying customer business needs, aligning them with Konica Minolta’s solutions portfolio, and advancing opportunities in close collaboration with product, industry, and pre-sales specialists to generate new revenue.
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Sales or business development experience preferred
- Experience using CRM tools and digital prospecting platforms a plus
- Experience with Salesforce strongly preferred
- Tenacity, initiative, and a growth mindset
- Ability to quickly learn new concepts, applications, and technologies
- Agile in adapting to shifting priorities and tight timelines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to explain complex technical information in clear, simple terms
