Business Development Representative
About the role
The Business Development Representative (BDR) position at Profit Recovery Partners (PRP) is fully onsite at our Santa Ana office. This role is high-activity, outbound, and focuses on building pipeline and creating new client relationships by engaging C-level executives.
Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting (phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels)
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients and secure face-to-face meetings with C-Level stakeholders for our National Account Managers
- Meet or exceed activity and pipeline targets
- Clearly articulate our value proposition and ask thoughtful questions to understand prospective client's business needs and identify opportunities
- Support the National Account Managers with a team approach to generating new appointments
Requirements
- 2-4 years’ experience in a professional or office environment (internships or entry-level roles considered)
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate with executive presence, including confidence, poise, and professionalism when engaging with C-level stakeholders
- Strong phone presence and consultative selling skills, with the ability to quickly establish credibility and build rapport in an initial conversation
- Self-motivated with the ability to succeed in a high-activity environment
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Compensation
The compensation for this role includes a competitive base salary of $60,000, complemented by an attractive commission structure. As a Business Development Representative, you will have the opportunity to earn uncapped commissions, providing significant income potential based on your performance and achievements. With our commission structure, your target earnings potential ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, reflecting the substantial rewards available to top-performing individuals.
