About the role

Cintas is seeking a Business Development Representative to focus on product line growth within existing customer accounts. This role involves prospecting, cold calling, setting appointments, presenting programs, and meeting sales quotas. Business Development Representatives will also transport samples of products for presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed revenue goals consistently.
  • Meet or exceed sales activity requirements.
  • Work closely with Cintas Service Representatives to leverage their relationships and increase sales and profits.
  • Work under the guidance of a Sales Manager to sell a range of products and services to significant customers and achieve sales targets.
  • Make effective use of sales tools, collateral material, and product samples.
  • Develop an annual sales and marketing strategy to accomplish sales goals and budget for the fiscal year.
  • Work independently to collect and analyze data from customers using predetermined tools, methods, and formats.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and intranet/internet.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of sales experience (preferred).
  • Experience in a similar sales or customer service role (preferred).
  • Availability to start within two weeks after offer is made and accepted.
