About the role
The B2B Business Development Officer (BDO) is responsible for driving membership growth, Clearview Partner Program development (also referred to as Select Employer Groups “SEG’s”), and consumer wallet share expansion within an assigned geographic territory supporting designated financial center locations.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage an assigned territory, aligning efforts with designated financial center locations and local market opportunities
- Develop, maintain, and grow a portfolio of Clearview Partner Program relationships, serving as the primary relationship manager
- Identify, prioritize, and onboard new partnerships to drive membership growth and product adoption
- Establish and execute territory-based business development plans aligned with organizational goals
- Possess and manage a robust pipeline of business opportunities using CRM tools
- Conduct regular outbound sales activities including cold calling, networking, referrals, and in-person visits
- Deliver compelling presentations to business owners, HR leaders, and decision-makers to secure partnerships
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals related to membership growth, product penetration, and relationship expansion
- Drive consumer wallet shares by promoting relevant credit union products and services to partner employees
- Deepen relationships within assigned Clearview Partner Program partners to increase engagement, utilization, and retention
- Coordinate on-site and virtual engagement opportunities including financial wellness seminars, onboarding sessions, and benefit enrollments for Partner Program organizations and their employees
- Ensure high-quality onboarding experience and ongoing relationship support
- Partner with Financial Center teams to identify opportunities, support onboarding, and ensure seamless member experiences
- Refer and collaborate with Commercial Lending and Treasury Management teams to support business client needs and revenue growth
- Work with Community Impact and Marketing teams to enhance brand visibility and community presence
- Act as a connector across business lines to maximize relationship value and organizational growth
- Represent the credit union at local business events, networking groups, chambers of commerce, and community functions
- Build and maintain Centers of Influence (COI) relationships (e.g., CPAs, attorneys, business leaders)
- Promote financial literacy through workshops, seminars, and community outreach initiatives
- Serve as a brand ambassador, reinforcing the credit union’s mission and value proposition
- Meet or exceed established sales goals and performance metrics
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of activities, pipeline, and relationships within CRM
- Provide regular updates to leadership on territory performance, pipeline, and opportunities
- Track Clearview Partner Program performance, engagement levels, and growth outcomes

Additional Requirements
- Willingness to travel throughout assigned territory and surrounding financial center markets
- Ability to attend networking and community events outside of standard business hours
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Lift heavy (50lbs)
