This role will support revenue growth through customer focus, relationship development, and disciplined commercial execution in the Manufacturing & Automotive space. You will collaborate with sales, customer, product, and operational partners to identify opportunities, solve problems, and improve outcomes, strengthening market execution, customer relationships, and measurable business results within a manufacturing environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in electric, gas, and water utilities
  • Execute business development strategies that align with growth and market expansion goals
  • Build relationships with utility leaders and key decision-makers to foster partnerships
  • Lead the sales cycle from opportunity discovery through to contract closure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective solutions
  • Analyze market data to inform strategic direction and customer engagement
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and updates to stakeholders
  • Represent the company at industry events and network with potential clients

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred
  • 7+ years of business development or sales experience in the utility sector
  • Strong grasp of utility industry trends and regulatory environments
  • Proven success in achieving sales targets and developing customer relationships
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a knack for executive presentations
  • Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce; willingness to travel frequently

Pay

$110,000 – $130,000 annually
