About the role
Establish new sales in existing and new channels in the South-Eastern region consisting of Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Florida for our Water-Tite Water Damage Prevention brand portfolio, specifically in the pump division.
Responsibilities
- Deliver monthly sales objectives primarily in the Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Florida regions.
- Create demand at the contractor and end-user level and guide resulting opportunities to channel partners.
- Create and maintain sales funnel to grow sales; generate and follow-up on customer leads and opportunities.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to gain early adoption of new products.
- Engage current users to expand awareness, educate, ask for referrals, identify new opportunities, and develop account intelligence.
- Aptitude to manage numerous requests and time demands concurrently, while achieving sales goals.
- Promote a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables.
- Demonstrate initiative and bring new ideas to the company.
- Use lean six sigma principles to define and shape Key Performance Indicators and performance measurement.
- Drive, Grit, Team Oriented: strong desire to compete and win.
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience in plumbing/groundwater/building/construction sales.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing or Engineering and/or comparable Technical School, training or field experience preferred.
- Experience calling on building products, plumbing, or groundwater contractors, builders, and product engineers.
- Earlier pump sales and product knowledge is a preferred.
