About the role

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving the adoption of Evolution steel framing products within the Northeast region. This includes working with contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to promote the use of Evolution framing solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Drive product awareness among architects, insurance agencies, public agencies, and code officials
  • Create and execute annual sales plans and budgets
  • Enroll members in the Preferred Contractor and Authorized Dealer Programs
  • Organize and maintain an installer network to support projects
  • Facilitate internal and external training sessions and product knowledge sessions
  • Assist or advise in the installation of high-profile and new user projects
  • Facilitate direct sales opportunities with target customers

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of successful experience in decking building, single-family or multifamily building material sales
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM software
  • Strong closing skills and relationship building skills
  • Ability to work independently and/or with a team to drive results
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Approximately 50% overnight travel required
  • Bilingual – English/Spanish a plus
